Pictured above is a Russian Soldier in Chechnya. As you can see he's armed with what looks to my eye to be a PKM belt fed machine gun, and the newest style of wicker cowboy hat. Let me know if I'm wrong. I snaked that site off of here. It's pretty cool, if yer into that sort of thing. And if not, why not ya damn dirty hippie!!
Memorial
Day. A day to remember those who have died for our country to protect our freedom. What
better way to celebrate their memories than by going out and SHOOTING GUNS!!!
Yeeehaww!
In order to celebrate the day, plus get a little stress out of our systems, myself and the fine purveyors of Steelgirl.com: Jon and Kim, decided to head out to the nearest gravel pit and shoot some guns. Jon and I were armed with our trusty "store guns": Heckler and Koch USP40's. Plus Jon was packing his trusty AK, while I had an AR15, a Franchi LAW 12, and a little .22 rifle. Balloons were blown up, released, and shot down. Bruises were instilled on our shoulders by the Franchi Assault Shotgun. And Kim rolled down a huge gravel mountain, oblivious to the shards of broken glass and chunks of metal mixed in with the dirt. She's a trooper. I'm sure there'll be some pics up on Steelgirl soon. It was great fun. Theres really nothing quite as relaxing as a day at the range, or gravel pit as it may be. Ahhhh.
I'm going to be doing some gunreviews in the near future too. Anyone want to buy us a digital video camera so we can get some pics of our weapons of death in action? Anyone?
