Who likes mini reviews? I do! This show was ok. While it's cool to see lineups that are different from stereotypical punk/hardcore sound that we always see in bend I hate to say that I wasn't too impressed with the overall show. So we get four word descriptions of each band and their set. Dualesc: alternametalcore (?), not that great. Hydroponic: 311ishfunk, young but good. Kaddisfly: 311ishfunk, same as Hydroponic. Dead Even: metalcore, heard it before. Everyone I know was very eager to see Dead Even play, even a few old fogies I know showed up just to catch these kids. I was less than impressed. They were good, but I'm sorry to say it wasn't anything I could rave about. I heard lots of good things about their set from their hardcore fans, but not so good things from people who weren't. It takes all sorts. I suppose. At least the kids got into their set.
